On this page everything revolves around the cult series “Knight Rider” from the 80’s.
But above all, it’s about the real star and David Hasselhoff.
Of course we’re talking about K.I.T.T. the sleek black Pontiac Trans Am, which delighted us all with its charm, wit and gadgets.
And that’s exactly what we’re bringing back to KITT. SWISSKNIGHT2000 is about building a KITT replica between the first and second season.
Accompany us on the way to convert our 1988 Pontiac Firebird 5.0 piece by piece into a replica.
The Knight 2000 is a state-of-the-art vehicle series designed by Wilton Knight and built by Knight Industries for $ 11.4 million. The Knight 2000 is housed in the body of a Pontiac Trans Am built in 1982, although the similarities with the production model stop there.
The Knight 2000 is immune to most forms of violence and is equipped with an advanced, man-made, intelligent microprocessor controller known as the Knight Industries Two Thousand, or K.I.T.T. for short.
